Shabbos Shuva 5769 (2008)
Rabbi Yossi Feldman of Sydney, Australia was resting on Shabbos afternoon when he saw in a dream his fellow Chosid, R' Zev, a"h, who had passed away along with his wife in a tragic car accident about 8 months earlier.
In his dream, Zev requested a favor of R' Feldman. Puzzled, R' Feldman queried "but you are not alive anymore?" Zev acknowledged this to be true, but nevertheless he asked R' Feldman to go to Zev's house and make a minyan there. But, R' Feldman responded, the house has been sold. Zev informed him that it has not been sold yet, it's still in process. R' Feldman further questioned, how can he get into the house, surely it must be locked. To which Zev replied, "don't worry, you'll be able to get in."
R' Feldman then asked Zev, "When is Moshiach coming"? Zev's immediate answer was "in approximately a year". R' Feldman asked further "and is the Rebbe Moshiach?" Zev did not answer verbally, but nodded with his head. With that, the dream ended.
The next day, R' Feldman decided to go to the Simon's house and see what will transpire. As he reached the house, the door was open and there was a Jewish family living there. R' Feldman asked the gentleman if he was the owner of the house, and the man responded that they were in the process of buying the house but the sale had not yet been completed.
R' Feldman proceeded to tell him about his dream and the request of Zev, a"h, and requested to be able to fulfill Zev's wish. The man was agreeable to allow the minyan in his home, and took part in the services. Kaddish was said, and Mishnayos were learned on behalf of the departed, as well as giving tzedakah.
During his conversation with the gentleman of the house, R' Feldman was informed that these people did not know the family, nor of their tragic passing. However, by Divine Providence, the bris of their young son took place on the day after the accident, and they had named their son Menachem Zev.
