Daniel has never given...such a short directive, without giving many reasons and explanations before!
Why wouldn't he give more information?
1.) What kind of danger?
2.) Be ready to go where? What if you do not have the money, to go ( to Israel )?
3.) Does everyone feel that something HUGE is about to happen?

We are a few steps away from Pesach. A time of JOY celebrating our MIRACULOUS redemption from Egypt. The prophet MICHA says , as in the days when you went out from Egypt so too I will show you wonders with the final redemption. And there will be wonders and miracles beyond the wonders and miracles of the redemption from Egypt. Judaism is NOT a religion that is about fear of punishment , it is a about the JOY and LOVE of G-D , and only fear in the sense of G-D's indescribable greatness and unlimited existence. We have been GUARANTEED by our PROPHETS that ALL will be redeemed and there will be no plague of darkness event this time around.
