I read that Noam Elimelech does not say that all Jews will be saved. On the contrary.
Noam Elimelech says as follows:
Before the Geula, the leaders and successfull Jews will be the RESHAIM and the Tzadikim will be the oucasts (as is happening in Israel today). The Reshaim will be the "fruit of the nuts" whereas the Tzadikim will be the "shell".
Then comes HASHEM and throws away the fruit (kills the Jews that are reshaim-EREV RAV majority) and keeps for himself the "shells" in order to maintain them for the GEULA.
During the time of YETZIAT MITZRAIM, only a fifttieth of Jews came out חמושים יצאו ממצרים. However bear in mind that the KOHANIM and LEVIIM were on a class of their own in that they did not suffer the events preceeding YETZIAT MITZRAIM. So, if the events are meant to repeat themselves today, then the Jews that will be redeamed would be KOHANIM and LEVIIM that keep TORA values and are either outcasts or well to do Jews. The rest of the Jews who will be redeamed are those that learn TORA and keep MITZVOT and are most probably outcasts in the current world and generally suffer.
The Jews that are very much TORA minded and are well to do are saved by their clinging to the TORA because if they were not clinging to TORA values then they will suffer much with poverty etc.
I think praise must be given to someone that is well to do and is completely TORA minded and is not a KOHEN or LEVI. They must be really serious learners in TORA.
I have seen many such people. They have learned GEMORA for many years several pages every day. Totally devoted to HASHEM. They have MIDOS. They will be protected from the events preceeding MOSHIACH. But they are unfortunately not too many.
